Autocad Technician

1. Expertise / Occupational Qualification / Special Knowledge

- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering

- 4-7 Years work experience in the construction Industry

- Experience in REVIT software (Architectural/MEP)

- Good knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Engineering and Architecture

- Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Well-developed drafting skills

- Strong technical understanding

- Commercial understanding

- Adhering to regulations

- Fluent in English

- Meeting targets and deadlines

Task Description:

• Meet with architects, designers and engineers to discuss design ideas
• Develop product design from scratch
• present rough design drafts for client approval
• support estimation department during tender stage with quantity take - offs and price request
• ensure product designs meet required safety and structural standarads
• generate solid and surface CAD models using autocad software (2D/3D)
• working in revit models, if required for specific projects
• blend technique and aesthetics to create final designs
• present various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations
• finalize autocad models
• present models to clients
• document control
• complete job reports
