Network Engineer level 3

Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that assigned infrastructure is configured, installed, tested and operational and that software is installed and configured according to client
  
• Design and implement physical and virtual
  
• Assess the current network architectures and plans for
  
• Planning and implementing changes, patches, and upgrades in timely manner while minimizing
  
• Proactively administer and monitor network to prevent Incidents and provide Tier 3 troubleshooting to restore the service within the agreed
  
• Advice and guide staff on technical matter as a tier 3 expert in network related issues and
  
• Engineer and maintain secure networks from the ground up using routing and switching hardware, IPS, firewall, VMware NSX,
  
• Collaborate with the Architects to understand upcoming application improvements, plan for changes,
  
• Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  
• Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and
  
• Manage the documentation by creating, updating, and reviewing Low-level designs (LLDs) and High-level designs (HLDs).
  
• Take full ownership for managing the incident to resolution within the service level ;
  

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE:

• You have a Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT-related
  
• 15 years experience in implementing, administering and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including: routers, switches, wireless access points, controllers, WAN optimizers and monitoring ;
  
• Strong experience in Networking and the capability to maintain secure network from the ground up using routing and switching hardware, IPS, firewall, VMware NSX,
  
• CCNA/CCDP certification would be an advantage.
  
• Proven experience in incident management, service request management and problem
  
• Experience of using ticketing systems and use of monitoring and management
  
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships to understand client
  
• Knowledge of industry best practices, methodologies, tools, in the field of network
  
• You have good analytical skills and enjoy solving challenges at
  
• With your excellent communication skills, you can interact with various stakeholders (commercial and operational).
