HMI and Network Engineer

Design and implement HMI applications for controls projects using HMI applications software packages and modern web-based technologies for Power, Oil & Gas, LNG, Chemical and Water Treatment Plants etc.

Design communication networks for industrial control system applications using CISCO, Allied Telesis and Hirschmann switches.

Provide technical leadership to the project engineering team on the HMI application design aspects.

Design and test HMI Screens and configure various network equipments like HMIs, Historians, Managed Switches, Firewalls, Network Time Protocols Server etc.

Design and implement industrial communication protocols with third party systems such as OPC, Modbus, IEC Protocols etc.

Interpret and translate specific customer requirements into series of actions with quality deliverables.

Support customer meetings, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Integrated-FAT of control systems.

Support field services team on project installation & commissioning.

Provide technical support and feedback to Sales teams on HMI software, hardware, and network designs.

Travel as required for supporting field services and sales teams during customer meetings.

Apply knowledge of industry practices and international standards to produce high-quality and cost-effective designs.
