• Emptying rubbish bins from the Kitchen area regularly
• Cleaning and sanitizing all equipment including all rubbish bins from food production and service areas
• Ensuring all crockery, pots, pans cutlery etc. are washed, cleaned, and maintained properly using specific chemicals and kitchen machinery safely
• Washing, scrubbing kitchen walls, floors, and kitchen areas regularly
• Cleaning kitchen machinery filters and hoods regularly to maintain equipment to the highest standards
• Arranging all silverware, crockery, pots and pans etc. in the correct storage areas
• Reporting all accidents and breakages to the Chief Steward
• Working in a safe manner and abide by the Occupational Health & Safety Legislation and Standards
• Adhering to Food & Safety Hygiene Standards (HACCP)
• Complying with specific guidelines and procedures related to chemicals and cleaning materials
• Carrying out any other duties as instructed by the shift Supervisor/senior
