• Work autonomously with minimal managerial oversight but knows the right time to check in
• Create original content and communication materials for internal and external use, including, but not limited to company announcements, press releases, thought leadership, and social media posts
• Create and execute internal events with KPIs
• Create a network of speakers for Kitopi
• Provides trusted comms counsel to in-market stakeholders, i.e. Country Managers, Marketing teams, Brand Owners, etc.
• Part of this will also be to support the social media team in reviewing content that goes out on Instagram and working on a LinkedIn strategy. Staying on top of social media trends will be key to success in this role.
• You will be adept at working directly with journalists, liaising with agency partners, managing media inquiries, and staying on top of all event coordination internally and externally – as well as external award lists.
• You must be comfortable with building and executing large-scale campaigns, be able to measure their reach, engagement, and visibility, and report on these in a consistent manner, as required by the business.
• In addition to this, the Communications Manager will also look after internal communications, and prepare and execute an internal communications strategy, working closely with the global and local People teams.
• We’re looking for a passionate, articulate, and savvy communicator who can work under pressure within tight deadlines.
• The communications team at Kitopi is responsible for telling the Kitopi story globally.
• This includes anything from briefing the press on the latest F&B trends, to sharing stories about Kitopians to raising awareness about our CSR efforts.
• We’re a fast-growing, energetic team with a passion for storytelling and creating regional campaigns with a global reach.
• Reporting to the Director of Communications and Corporate Brand, the Communications Manager will help us tell the Kitopi story in the EMEA region.
• You will have the scope to manage a team of creatives and project managers, and work cross-functionally with marketing, growth, legal, etc.
