Job Description
Large international, western firm are looking for a Director of Construction to work on high-profile mixed-use, hospitality, residential and commercial projects throughout the region.
Responsibilities:
- To enforce standard post contract procedures and develop further when needed
- Review all submittals and documents to ensure staff are working within the necessary guidelines
- Chair all meetings with the clients, project managers, sub-consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and authorities.
- Maintain quality and company standards throughout the construction process.
- Manage the engineering and architectural teams to ensure that all contract and construction documentation are correct and are issued to the necessary teams.
- Ensure all site teams have the necessary equipment to work on site and are to health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years experience
- Should have a construction background
- Must have experience working in UAE
- Must be able to demonstrate previous experience working on large-scale project
- Should have the gravitas to manage and oversee all contract and post contract activities on site to ensure timely completion.
