The role of the Estimator / QS is essential to the company s future development and success in delivering a continuous
low of new business and identifying future opportunities in both competitive tendering and design and build projects.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing drawings and preparing quantity requirements.
Analyzing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best negotiation.
Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
Travelling from the of ice to various sites as required.
Requirements
Skills:
5 to 8 years of relevant experience as Quantity Surveyor in Interior Joinery Fit-out Projects.
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant experience
AutoCAD quantity take-off experience.
Experience with Microsoft Of ice (Word, Excel).
Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a lexible and adaptable approach to work; Works well under pressure.
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
Good command over written and spoken English.
GCC experience will be an advantage.
