Job Description
- Infectious Disease Education for Residents and Hospitalists;
- Leadership participation in Infection Prevention and control;
- Antibiotic stewardship;
- Assessment and evaluation of care for both inpatient and outpatient programs;
- Inpatient and outpatient clinic duties include new consults and post-hospitalization follow up, IV antibiotics and HIV consults and management;
- Participate in night and weekend call coverage;
- NO primary care;
- Antimicrobial Stewardship program;
- Assist with activities of infection control and the hospital epidemiology programs;
- Shared call with other ID physicians;
- Outpatient consultation including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment;
- Active Hospitalist program to care for inpatients;
- Located in Norwich CT;
- Inpatient consultations at Backus Hospital
