Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Act as technical authority on offshore projects.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with departmental/project objectives.
• Broad knowledge of designing and detailing required for design, load out, transportation, installation, and methods used in the industry.
• Support bidding process.
• FPSO Topside design experience.
• Technical review of engineering consultant work where the work is subcontracted.
• Review designs in terms of constructability and load out considering allocated facility.
• Full structural calculation for different load cases. In-place, static and dynamic analysis.
• Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the engineering department/section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
• In depth knowledge of applicable rules and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Strong theoretical background with resolution of technical issues during projects planning and execution phases.
• Participate in design reviews and take necessary follow up actions.
• Fatigue analysis.
• Preparing and reviewing structural engineering design, studies, drawings and documents.
• In-depth knowledge of offshore structural design including North Sea requirements
