Sales Executive Requirements:
Graduate
2 year + work experience as an Customer Service Executive.
Logistics industry (Air, Sea) experience is required.
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills.
Prime Responsibilities
1.Pricing:
Responsible for obtaining rates from overseas offices for Import, Export and cross trade cargo movement.
Client service and Supporting Sales Team by preparing and sending Freight quotes to the Customer within the stipulated time and updating the feedback to the respective sales .
Negotiating the rates with Shipping Line/Agent at the time of closing the deal.
Coordinating with the shipping line/Agent to generate bookings and to share the routing Order.
Updating the Agents and contact details of the vendors on timely basis.
Agent and vendor development based on the requirement.
2. Customer Service:
Coordinating with the sales and operations to provide enhanced service to the customers.
Submitting Shipping instruction to shipping line/Airline and obtaining the draft and making sure that all in order.
Coordinating internally with documentation, transportation, warehouse for the smooth movement of the shipment.
Ensuring shipments are in order and cut offs are managed for all the shipments.
Monitoring and updating customers regarding the status of their shipments on timely basis.
Client Support for FTA products for inbound/transfer and outbound transactions.
Coordinating with Documentation and Warehouse for Transfer, Import and export shipments.
Scheduling the inbound and outbound movements based on the customer requirement by discussing with the operations Team.
Key Accounts handling: the first point of contact for all inbound and outbound shipments for the allocated clients.
Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated.
Guiding and instructing warehouse Team for VAS based on the requirement of the client.
Closing the job as soon on time by ensuring shipping costs are calculated accurately and passed on to the Accounts team for invoicing.
