• Develop, in liaison with the PD team, a schedule for periodic policy reviews and implementation – adapt to reflect changing priorities and in alignment with DP World.
• Support Section Head on the development of new HR policies and SOPs in line with industry standard and best practices and updating existing policies and SOPs, working with all functions of PD team as appropriate.
• Support Section Head in developing specific policies and procedures for other DDW BUs (including overseas) or staff working or employed overseas in alignment with DDW or local policies, as applicable.
• Support Section Head in translating business requirements to effective HR practices, delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Raise employee’s awareness of DDW Policies using various means including physical and virtual sessions, video recordings, memos, etc.
• Liaise with the DDW Business Excellence team in publishing the approved policies in Corporate Connexions (Intranet).
• Collaborate with People Department team to identify needed improvements and enhancements to existing PD Systems and processes.
• Ensure all requested system changes are in full compliance with DDW Policies, industry standards and best practices prior to taking them up with IT Teams.
