This role requires someone hands-on capable of handling the A to Z of accounting operations including but not limited to accounts payable and receivable payroll cash flow management and internal controls alongside our existing accountant. The successful candidate will also work closely with our external audit firm which conducts monthly management audits and handles internal/external audits VAT filing and refund claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
- Manage cash flow budgeting and financial planning.
- Maintain internal financial controls and accounting systems.
- Support management by providing insights into financial processes and improving efficiencies.
- Liaise with external financial institutions for day-to-day financial matters.
- Collaborate with external auditors for monthly and annual audit processes
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience preferably in export/import or trade-related industries.
- Sharp with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts independently.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
