Senior Deeptech Investment Analyst Web3 / AI
Location: Fully Remote
Type: Fulltime
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
We are collaborating with an innovative organisation at the forefront of emerging technologies seeking a Senior Deeptech Investment Analyst to identify and evaluate highpotential opportunities in the Web3 and AI sectors. This role offers the chance to influence investment strategies in deeptech while driving growth and innovation across a portfolio of cuttingedge companies.
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis & Opportunity Sourcing:
- Conduct indepth research on emerging trends technologies and market dynamics within Web3 and AI with a focus on their convergence.
- Identify and source highpotential investment opportunities including startups scaleups and established companies.
Investment Evaluation & Portfolio Support:
- Evaluate potential investments by analysing business models market opportunities and scalability to inform decisionmaking.
- Monitor portfolio performance provide insights on key metrics and support portfolio companies in achieving strategic growth.
Strategic Collaboration & Partnerships:
- Work closely with internal teams and portfolio companies to identify synergies and drive operational improvements.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships to add value to investments and enhance portfolio company performance.
Stakeholder Engagement & Thought Leadership:
- Build and nurture relationships with industry leaders entrepreneurs and coinvestors.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives sharing insights and positioning the organisation as a leader in deeptech investments.
Key Requirements
Experience & Expertise:
- 57 years of experience in investment analysis venture capital or a related field with a focus on Web3 and AI technologies.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technologies AI and their intersections.
Analytical & Market Insight:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends emerging technologies and investment opportunities.
Communication & Relationship Building:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proven networking ability to build relationships with entrepreneurs investors and industry experts.
Leadership & Adaptability:
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members.
- Flexible and proactive approach thriving in a fastpaced evolving technology landscape.
Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g. MBA) are a plus.
