PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
As a Finishing Supervisor you will be to Overseeing finishing works on construction projects to ensure quality timeliness and adherence to specifications. Coordinate with various teams and subcontractors to achieve project goals and Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the finishing stages.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate all finishing activities onsite including quality control and workmanship standards.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and subcontractors to plan and execute finishing tasks.
- Monitor project progress and report on timelines challenges and solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Manage material procurement and inventory related to finishing works.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on finishing techniques and safety protocols.
- Address and resolve onsite issues and conflicts in a timely manner.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to finishing works for project management and stakeholders.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field.
- Proven experience in utility and road works supervision with a focus on finishing processes.
- Strong understanding of construction materials techniques and finishing processes.
- Excellent leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. OSHA PMP) are a plus.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
