Planning Engineer

Black & Grey HR is actively recruiting a Planning Engineer for a leading construction company based in Dubai. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong ability to effectively plan schedule and manage project timelines. The Planning Engineer will ensure that all project activities are completed on time within scope and budget. Other responsibilities are

Develop detailed project plans including work schedules resources and budget estimates.

Create maintain and monitor project schedules using project management software (e.g. Primavera P6 MS Project).

Track and report on project progress identifying potential delays and implementing mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with project managers site engineers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and timelines.

Allocate resources efficiently ensuring optimal utilization and avoiding bottlenecks.

Identify risks and develop risk mitigation plans to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports change orders and schedules.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with all projects stakeholders providing regular updates on project status.

Ensure all project activities comply with relevant laws regulations and company standards.

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in planning and scheduling for civil construction projects.

Proficient in project management software such as Primavera P6 MS Project and other relevant tools.

Strong understanding of construction processes methodologies and best practices.

Ability to analyse project data identify trends and make informed decisions.

Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to anticipate and address issues proactively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy in project planning and reporting.

Experience working on largescale civil construction projects.

Familiarity with construction contracts and claims management.
