Watchman

As a Watchman in the UAE you will be responsible for maintaining security and safety within a designated area or premises. Your primary role is to prevent unauthorized access monitor surveillance equipment and respond to emergencies to ensure the protection of people property and assets.Key Responsibilities:Surveillance and Monitoring:Monitor premises using surveillance systems including CCTV cameras and alarm systems.Patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity unauthorized entry or security breaches.Report any security incidents safety hazards or unusual activities to the appropriate authorities or supervisors.Access Control:Control access points by verifying credentials permits or passes of individuals and vehicles entering the premises.Enforce access control procedures and protocols to prevent unauthorized entry or trespassing.Direct visitors contractors and deliveries to designated locations following security guidelines.Emergency Response:Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms medical incidents or security breaches.Implement emergency procedures including evacuations and lockdowns to ensure the safety of occupants.Coordinate with emergency services (police fire department medical responders) as needed.Security Procedures and Protocols:Enforce security policies procedures and regulations to maintain a secure environment.Conduct security checks on equipment doors windows and other access points to ensure they are secure.Maintain vigilance and alertness to potential security threats and risks.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of daily activities incidents and observations in security logs or reports.Prepare incident reports detailing security breaches disturbances or other incidents.Assist in investigations by providing information evidence or testimony as required.Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a Security Guard Watchman or in a similar role preferably in the UAE.Knowledge of security operations and procedures including surveillance systems and emergency response protocols.Familiarity with UAE security regulations and laws governing private security operations.Strong observation and surveillance skills to detect and respond to security threats effectively.Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Physical fitness and the ability to stand walk and patrol for extended periods.Working Conditions:Watchmen in the UAE may work in various environments such as residential complexes commercial buildings retail establishments or industrial sites.The role may involve working shifts including nights weekends and holidays depending on the security requirements of the facility.Watchmen may work independently or as part of a security team under the supervision of a Security Supervisor or Manager.Salary and Benefits:Salaries for Watchmen in the UAE vary based on experience location and employer.
