Job Objective:
Responsible for managing all contractrelated items in the company including evaluating bids from contractors negotiating and awarding contracts reviewing and finalizing outstanding claims or issues processing payment requests and releasing final payments. This position encompasses a full range of contractual processes such as contract preparation negotiation administration and closure requiring indepth knowledge of standard contractual norms and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare review and issue contractual agreements policies and procedures and develop strategies and recommendations for proposed contracts.
- Participate in team meetings prepare contract terms and conditions conduct contract analysis and ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
- Manage all aspects of assigned contracts including funding scope changes amendments receipts and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue subcontracting agreements and modifications during prequalification or tendering stages.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule reviews obtain necessary approvals and ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Interpret contract requirements provide expert advice and involve personnel or management to improve future contract outcomes.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet contractual deadlines.
- Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution aligns with company policies and procedures.
- Review contract documents terms and correspondence during bid evaluation and proposal processes.
- Prepare proposals for new contracts and changes to existing contracts.
- Identify and manage disputes claims and performance deficiencies to minimize risks.
- Develop and implement comprehensive contract management plans and monitor performance to achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintain contract information integrity and coordinate contract administration processes.
- Prepare bid invitations control issuance of RFPs/RFAs/drawings and maintain records of variation orders.
- Ensure contract execution aligns with company policies and procedures.
- Develop positive relationships with internal/external suppliers to support desired outcomes.
- Tender and review terms of property insurances negotiate and appoint suitable insurance providers.
- Tender and review terms of service contracts for facility teams and appoint suitable providers.
- Update Contracts Procedures Manual in line with approvals and recommendations.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by line manager or department head.
