• Identify new business opportunities within the targeted defense customer organizations through research, networking, and strategic teaming.
• Prospect, target, and build qualified pipelines with prospective clients.
• Develop and brief a focused and actionable defense customer account plan to the business; identify resources to achieve plan.
• Engage with high-ranking government, defense and OE officials who lead meaningful programs.
• Analyze contract documentation and government spending to understand agency program trends.
• Expand upon existing relationships with government and technology vendors/system integrators to further build a brand for Honeywell in the MEAI defense marketplace.
• Develop credibility and relationships with Government clients through fluency in the service areas as it relates to Honeywell capabilities within the agencies.
• Conduct all activities leading to opportunity identification, qualification including probability of success, strategy of the pursuit, drive the pursuit to a proposal opportunity.
• Serve as the principal liaison with all key MEAI customers.
• Perform ongoing assessments of customer requirements, determine market trends and develop strategies that align the customer’s needs/opportunities with HON capabilities and discriminators.
• Participate in bid decisions, development of cost strategies and phase reviews.
• Engage and inform executive leadership with the voice of the customer and advocate internally for the actions and commitments necessary to win.
• Work directly with the Honeywell GR team to shape, develop and execute on defense & space strategic priorities
