Coordinating and managing all aspects of transportation operations, including route planning, driver scheduling, and vehicle maintenance.Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.Monitoring and optimizing transportation costs, including fuel, tolls, and vehicle maintenance.Managing driver performance, including training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.Maintaining accurate transportation records and documentation.Coordinating with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.Developing and implementing transportation policies and procedures.Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance transportation efficiency and customer satisfaction.Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in transportation management.
