Job Description
a) Maintains all Instrument and Control Systems at a high degree of operational
availability.
b) Under the direction of the Instrument Foreman or Senior Instrument Technicians, receives Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance Routines, Safety Permits and appropriate engineering drawings and carries out assignments.
c) Carry out in a safe manner field troubleshooting, calibration and replacement of Instrument services
d) Assists Senior Instrument Technicians in pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.
e) Assists Senior Instrument Technicians in minor instrumentation modifications.
f) Assists Senior Instrument Technicians in shutdown work.
g) Ensures that all work is carried out in accordance with safe working procedures, safety permits and regulations.
