- Planning and Organising:
- Through subordinate staff, plans, organizations, and schedules the work of various craft workers, such as HVAC(heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
- Inspects regularly the operation of equipment under his/her responsibility to identify and then rectify problems in conjunction with outside contractors and line staff, in consultation with the Duty Engineer as and when necessary.
- Monitors PPM schedules on equipment under his/her responsibility
- Performs as a key member of the committee in charge of the energy conservation and other cost-saving initiatives within his area of responsibilities.
- Performs corrective maintenance on HVAC systems as required and makes recommendations to management on improvements
- Advise his immediate senior of day to day problems
- Maintenance
- Provide in-house HVAC servicing, repair, and maintenance using well-trained, presentable personnel carrying out maintenance work in an efficient, discreet, and guest-friendly manner.
- Carry out continuous inspections to ensure the highest level of guest comfort is maintained and that all services are in proper working condition.
- He carries out preventive maintenance as manuals
- Provides technical advice as required across all Staff under his subordination within the Department
- Will perform other duties as directed from time to time by the management
- Make sure that all the HVAC jobs have been carried out and completed as per hotel standards
