Job Description

- Estimating costs of materials and labor needed to complete projects
- Coordinating with other contractors to ensure that they are completing their tasks on time
- Inspecting work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Informing customers about the status of their orders or services
- Identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption in existing buildings through improved insulation or more efficient HVAC equipment
- Establishing schedules and overseeing contractors who are working on projects
- Coordinating with architects and engineers during construction projects
- Evaluating and recommending new equipment purchase proposals by contractors
- Ensuring that contractors meet safety and environmental regulations
