• Solicit new and existing accountsto meet / exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation,outside sales calls, site inspections and writtencommunication • Meet or exceed personal salessolicitation call goals based on a minimum of 5 daily appointmentscovering existing and prospectiveaccounts • Responsible for administration of allsupport services including but not limited to responding to emailsand correspondence, input and maintenance ofdatabases • Maintains a high profile within tradeand professional associates dealing with their marketarea / segment(s) • Interacts with individualsoutside the hotel within their sales area including, but notlimited to clients, local hotel associations and other members ofthe local community • Solicit corporate,consortia and leisure accounts directly and jointly with othersthrough the preparation, execution and completion of ActionPlans • Implements all Sales Action Plans relatedto their sales area as outlined in the Revenue / BusinessPlan • Within established parameters, quote andnegotiate prices with customer representatives confirmingreservations by letter and drawing up contracts; sign for the hoteland obtain customer signature to close thetransaction • Upon contracting accounts, thisposition will be responsible for ongoing account management withcontracted accounts and setting of production targets on aquarterly basis • When appropriate, and withagreement with the DOSM, to attend major travel functions (tradeshows, associations) that deal specifically with their marketingresponsibility • Plans sales trips, under thedirect approval of the DOS, to major marketing areas, calling onaccounts within their specific marketingarea
