Job Description

- Acts as drug information and education resource for patients, nurses, medical clinical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assists medical staff with the selection of drug therapy and their doses and with choosing parameters of patient monitoring and shares the responsibility for patient-specific pharmacotherapy plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Responsible for maintaining and periodically revising Fakeeh care medications master list and medications formulary list through strong involvement and permanent membership of the pharmacy and therapeutic committee (P&TC).
- Receives all requests of inclusions and deletion from Drug Formulary and all requests of non-formulary additions and discusses them with P&TC members for final decision.
