Black & Grey HR is currently scouting for a seasoned Sr. AV Estimation Engineer for a leading business in Doha Qatar. Our client is at the forefront of innovation delivering superior lighting solutions designed for sustainability and customization. As they broaden their scope they are in search of a dynamic professional who excels in creating precise quotes designs and proposals for advanced AV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft detailed quotes designs and proposals for AV projects aligning with client needs and specifications.
Formulate extensive project documentation including Bill of Quantities (BOQ) cost estimations and design schematics ensuring alignment with project goals.
Compile comprehensive proposal binders with all required documentation for project bids and tenders.
Engage in proactive communication with suppliers to remain informed about the latest AV products technologies and pricing strategies.
Persistently negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal terms for the procurement of project materials and equipment.
Produce reports to monitor project milestones budget compliance and overall performance.
Ensure thorough project documentation for seamless execution maintenance and client transition.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee the smooth progression of AV projects from conception through completion.
Offer technical support and mentorship to junior staff promoting knowledge sharing and industry best practices.
Keep updated on industry developments emerging technologies and regulatory standards to enhance design and estimation methodologies.
Requirements
A Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
A solid track record of 1012 years in AV design with expertise in audiovisual systems video walls PA/VE IPTV SMATV and Master Clock systems.
Demonstrated ability in crafting detailed audiovisual project proposals.
A deep understanding of project estimation strategies cost analysis and technical specifications.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.
Proficiency in design and estimation software such as AutoCAD and MS Excel.
A comprehensive knowledge of various AV brands and solutions catering to diverse project needs.
