Job Title: Primary Arabic Teacher

Job Description:

Our school in Muscat Oman is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Arabic Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a Primary Arabic Teacher you will be responsible for delivering highquality Arabic language instruction to primary school students fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment and promoting cultural understanding and appreciation.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement ageappropriate Arabic language curriculum in alignment with national standards and school objectives.
2. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of primary school students.
3. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued respected and motivated to learn Arabic.
4. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies resources and technologies to enhance the teaching and learning of Arabic language skills including listening speaking reading and writing.
5. Assess and monitor student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
6. Collaborate with colleagues parents/guardians and other stakeholders to support the holistic development of students and promote a positive school culture.
7. Integrate cultural and global perspectives into Arabic language instruction fostering students appreciation and understanding of Arabicspeaking cultures.
8. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills stay updated on best practices in Arabic language education and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Arabic language program.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Arabic language education or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
2. Teaching certification/license or equivalent qualification in Arabic language education.
3. Native or nearnative proficiency in Arabic language.
4. Experience teaching Arabic language to primary school students preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.
5. Strong understanding of primary education pedagogy curriculum development and assessment practices.
6. Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect.
8. Proficiency in English language is desirable.
9. Familiarity with Omani educational standards and cultural context is an advantage.
