About the Role

As a Senior Engineer I (Web) you will be at the forefront of crafting usercentric highly responsive and visually appealing web applications for millions of users across emerging markets. Youll contribute to the architecture design and development of innovative digital experiences ensuring our web platform reflects Beyond ONEs mission of simplicity personalization and sustainability.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop robust scalable and highly interactive frontend web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including designers backend engineers and product managers to deliver cohesive and highquality web solutions.
• Optimize performance by identifying bottlenecks implementing best practices and leveraging tools to enhance responsiveness and scalability.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing code reviews and adherence to development standards.
• Stay updated on the latest frontend technologies and trends integrating them into Beyond ONEs web ecosystem.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers contributing to a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning.

What You Will Need

• Educational Background:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in frontend web development with a proven track record of delivering complex and visually engaging web applications.
• Technical Skills:
  • Musthaves:
    • Strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks like React Angular or Vue.js.
    • Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6 with experience building responsive and accessible web interfaces.
    • Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g. Redux MobX) and clientside routing.
    • Experience with frontend build tools and bundlers like Webpack Babel or Parcel.
    • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating them into web applications.
    • Fluency in version control tools like Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Nicetohaves:
    • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and tools like Lighthouse or Chrome DevTools.
    • Awareness of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG) and implementing inclusive web solutions.
    • Exposure to GraphQL and realtime data integrations.
