DescriptionOntime Group is seeking an experienced Receptionist with a background in medical billing and insurance to join our Medical Center in this role you will provide essential administrative support while ensuring that patients receive outstanding service and assistance with billing and insurance inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage incoming phone calls schedule appointments and maintain the clinics calendar
- Provide information regarding the services offered as well as billing and insurance options
- Assist patients with check-in procedures including collecting and verifying insurance information
- Process payments manage billing inquiries and handle insurance verification and claims
- Ensure the reception area and waiting room are clean and organized
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Address patient concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally
Requirements - Previous experience as a Receptionist in a medical center or healthcare facility specifically with billing and insurance knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service orientation with a problem-solving attitude
- Proficiency in appointment scheduling and managing a busy calendar
- Experience with medical billing software and electronic medical records systems
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
