ITP Media Group is looking for an ambitious Social Media Editor to join its social-first mobile-first consumer media brand Ahlan.
Totally mad for what s trending on TikTok and always on top of the latest effects for Reels the ideal candidate lives and breathes social with a strong understanding of what drives views and engagement and keen interest in lifestyle reporting.
Based out of ITP s Dubai office this role will be responsible for publishing daily content reacting to local news trends and happenings with a fun playful approach with a focus on building an engaged active audience and a growing community.
Requirements
Key responsibilities
- Create and post daily and hourly content across the brand s Instagram TikTok X and Facebook accounts.
- With the Editor devise a strategy and schedule for each platform keep and deliver an always-on content calendar.
- Deliver consistent audience and engagement growth across the brand s social and digital platforms.
- Ensure daily content goals are met and content is posted quickly and accurately.
- Ensure content posted works towards the brand s audience and engagement goals promoting interaction and reaction.
- Identify the best platform for a particular piece of content deliver it creatively and to a high standard.
- Identify new social trends and jump on them quickly identifying how to make them work for the brand.
- Regularly monitor user behaviours and algorithm changes and use those learnings inform future planning.
- Alongside the Editor plan keep and execute a social media calendar.
- Provide daily and weekly reports to the Editor on performance regularly analysing and refining approach for best results.
- Work with the Editor to ensure ALL content reflects overall content / editorial strategy.
- Contribute to the brand s annual and seasonal calendar of events collaborating with the events team to deliver exciting cohesive quality activations that add value to the brand and its audience.
- Occasionally attend events outside of regular office hours.

- Superb organisational and communication skills.
- Excellent grasp of social trends and best practice.
- Experience across a wide range of social media platforms and reporting.
- Confidence going out and about shooting video on smartphones to create killer social content.
- Ability to self-supervise and meet deadlines.
- Languages: Fluent in spoken English Arabic a plus.
