Job Overview:
The Operations Function Support Specialist is a pivotal role within the ME G&PS Business Unit taskedwith providing comprehensive assistance to the Operations Team in the coordination and administrationof various projects. Key responsibilities include supporting activities related to project planning financialmanagement tracking reporting and governance. Candidates for this position are expected to possess asolid understanding of project management methodologies exhibit exceptional communication skills and
demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement. Furthermore the ability to independently develop and implement innovative solutions and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination and Support:
Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the Operations Function ensuring seamless day-today operations.
Assist in the formulation and maintenance of project plans schedules and essential documentation.

Collaborate with project managers to monitor milestones deliverables and financial metrics.

Facilitate effective communication across project teams and stakeholders fostering alignment andpromoting collaboration.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and maintain detailed project status reports financial reports dashboards and other criticaloperational documentation to support informed decision-making.
Ensure all project documentation is meticulously updated accurately maintained and complies withfirmwide policies and standards.
Contribute to the enhancement of project management processes and tools promoting operationalefficiency and excellence.
Governance and Compliance:
Support the implementation and adherence to operational policies procedures and standards touphold governance and compliance requirements.
Assist in monitoring project compliance with internal methodologies and frameworks ensuringalignment with organisational standards.
Resource Management:
Provide assistance in the efficient management and allocation of project resources optimising theirutilisation to meet project goals.
Support capacity planning and resource forecasting to ensure resource availability aligns withproject demands.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a critical liaison between the Operations Function and project managers ensuringtransparent and effective communication across all parties.
Assist in managing stakeholder expectations by implementing robust engagement strategies thatenhance collaboration and satisfaction.
Play an instrumental role in organising and facilitating team-wide communications and eventsstrengthening the sense of unity and purpose within the team.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated expertise in project management or roles providing project support.
Comprehensive understanding of project management principles methodologies and certificationstandards (e.g. PMP).
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Exceptional organisational abilities with a proven capacity to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
Proficiency in utilising the Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools andsoftware (e.g. Microsoft Project).
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills enabling effective teamwork in diverse environments.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills suitable for professional contexts.
Working Conditions:
The Operations Function Support Specialist will work in an office environment. This role may requireoccasional travel to support project activities and team meetings.
