Job Description

Position Purpose:

The Merchandising Trainee will support the end-to-end management of the gifting process assisting with logistical coordination tracking and documentation to ensure seamless execution of CRM and promotional gifting campaigns. This role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams administration and process management to uphold high standards in timely and effective gifting operations.

Key Accountabilities:

Gifting Process Support

  • Assist in the organization and execution of gifting campaigns across CRM in-store and online channels.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date gifting trackers including inventory status timelines and campaign-specific details.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners and vendors to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of all gifting requirements.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with warehouse logistics and brand teams to align on gifting timelines and specifications ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Support the Merchandising Operations & Animation Manager with administrative tasks to facilitate smooth cross-departmental communication and workflow.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Keep detailed records of gifting processes inventory movements and project updates to ensure transparency and continuity.
  • Provide regular updates to the team including reports on gifting status and potential areas for process improvement.

Skills Experience & Personality

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent with a strong interest in merchandising operations and project coordination.
  • 1-2 years experience in Merchandising/Project Coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail in managing documentation.
  • Highly organized with a proactive approach to handling multiple tasks related to gifting activities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English capable of collaborating effectively with various teams.
  • Adaptable team-oriented and aligned with Sephoras values of creativity authenticity and continuous improvement.
