Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Document Controller to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. In this crucial role you will be responsible for managing controlling and maintaining project documentation while ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive document control system for all project-related documents
  • Develop and follow document control procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Manage the receipt logging and distribution of incoming and outgoing documents in a timely manner
  • Ensure proper filing storage and easy retrieval of all documents
  • Maintain and update document registers databases and archives with meticulous attention to detail
  • Collaborate with project teams to implement and monitor document version control and revision management
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with document control procedures and industry standards
  • Prepare and distribute reports presentations and other project-related materials as needed
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of electronic document management systems (EDMS)
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in document control
  • Travel to project sites within the UAE as required

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Management or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in document control or a similar role preferably in construction engineering or related industries
  • Proven expertise in using EDMS systems (e.g. UNIFER) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of document control processes best practices and industry standards
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Experience with database management and data entry
  • In-depth familiarity with filing and archiving systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
  • Willingness to travel to project sites within the UAE when necessary
