Role : Senior Technical Analyst Consumer Finance Solutions
Location : Abu Dhabi

To act as a Business Analyst between business and IT for facilitating the transformation of business requirements into effective solutions. Plans and provides support and closely interacts with the Relationship Teams / Managers to develop or participate or contribute for the strategic Plan and business plans of the Retail Central Operations and related applications. The incumbent is responsible to improve operation efficiency in processing Customer Finance applications and provide automated digital solutions.

  1. Gathering requirements from Business and Transform into effective solution.
  2. Automate existing manual processes and provide solutions to business.
  3. Key role in digital Transformation for retail Finance Solution.
  4. Support Business users to translate ADIB Business requirements to vendors (In Technical steps) and vice-versa.
  5. Understanding of Islamic Finance Processing which include Share Trading Commodity Management.
  6. Understanding of Retail Finance Repayment and various profit type calculations.
  7. Understanding of Finance Accounting and charges Collection.
  8. In-depth Knowledge of Credit Underwriting process including all retail finances.
  9. Credit Bureau and Central Bank regulations standards Knowledge for Retail Financing.
  10. Expertise in Delinquency System management and auto dialer System.
  11. Expertise in Financial management services Like rescheduling Post postponement ..etc.
  12. Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
  13. Proficiency in mathematical skills and should have good problem solving and analytical skills.
  14. Prepare/Review IARs and related documents related to projects and tasks for approvals.
  15. Coordination between project and business teams during the execution of projects and tasks.
  16. Support for UAT of projects and tasks including preparation of documents and approvals.
  17. Support Go-live and post go-live activities for assigned projects and tasks
  18. Follow-up and track services coordinate vendor support issues respond to service tickets in a timely fashion.
  19. Follow the mandatory and obligatory standards set by the management in delivering the services.
  20. Manage vendor systems and their production supports which include vendor Coordination Issue resolutions and Service quality monitoring.

    Key Accountabilities of the role
  • Ensures the implementation of the Business Plans using the best fit optimum technology in conjunction with Project Managers Technical Resources and Business Resources and with Vendors in the agreed time frames.
  • Oversee and direct in conjunction with the respective Systems Analysts / Programmers or the analysis of business requirements development of functional and program specifications relational database design programming testing implementation and documentation for the Retail and Central Operations applications.
  • Attend the Market Seminars and Industry Forums to keep abreast with the latest technological trends and best practices and implements the best practices for the Bank.
  • Implement short-gap or bespoke system for the continuity in Business Operations where the vendor is not capable to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure the application of SDLC Standards by their team members.
  • Manage the Retail and Central Operations applications Co-ordinate Vendor Support Issues implements Enhancements and customization.
  • Manage the Incidents with the assistance of the System Analysts Programmers to resolve them convert them into known errors and design appropriate escalation procedures.
  • Recommend applicable ITIL standards or other suitable standards for the IT Infrastructure in terms of but not limited to Operational Planning Availability Planning Change Control Planning etc.
  • Work to schedule and assign Staff to ensure that applications satisfy Users needs and are completed within agreed upon time parameters.
  • Ensures that availability and performance targets are met for all Retail and Central Operations Systems and that optimum service levels are required.
  • Execute the ad hoc instructions or provide flexibility within ethical and professional standards from line manager to achieve any exceptional business objectives Internal IT Objectives related to ADIB group including International Expansion Actively participate and provide inputs for the operational plan
  • Familiarize with the Technology Trends Strategic use of technology by peers.
  • Responsible for the project planning execution monitoring and closure as per specified timeline.
  • Implement measures relevant KPIs and other controls to monitor the performance of the application. Continuously monitor and enhance the technology policies and procedures of the supporting infrastructure to provide the optimum returns for the Stakeholders.
  • Establish partnerships with the Business Stakeholders for a pro-active approach and constant feedback to assess the operational requirements and process automation to remedy issues on a short term and long terms basis.
  • Plan and assign the resources appropriate to their skills motivate and mentor the team.
  • Conduct regular team meetings with team members hence develop discipline among them.
