Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales & Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing e-commerce courier and express logistics provider serving the UAE market. In this role you will be responsible for driving business growth by selling tailored express delivery solutions to a variety of clients including retailers e-commerce platforms and businesses requiring fast reliable logistics services. You will play a key role in building long-term partnerships and maximizing sales revenue in a highly competitive and dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Market Growth:
- Develop and grow new business opportunities across the UAE for e-commerce courier and express delivery solutions.
- Identify key market segments and prospects particularly within online retail marketplaces and SMEs requiring express logistics.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and post-sales relationship management.
- Collaborate closely with internal commercial and operational teams to design and deliver solutions that meet client needs.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build manage and nurture relationships with clients to ensure strong retention and repeat business.
- Address client concerns and support issue resolution quickly and effectively.
- Ensure smooth client onboarding and ongoing engagement through regular communication and performance reviews.
Reporting and Strategic Alignment:
- Monitor sales pipelines and report regularly to the Commercial Director on activity progress and market feedback.
- Contribute to pricing strategies service enhancements and market penetration initiatives.
- Ensure CRM data is kept up to date and used effectively to track growth and opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with operations and technology teams to ensure service delivery excellence.
- Participate in management meetings and support strategic planning and departmental initiatives.
- Support leadership development within the sales and commercial teams.
Occasional Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Commercial Director to support business growth and market development.
Key Contacts:
- Engage regularly with internal stakeholders across sales operations and management to align business goals and deliver client satisfaction.
Decision-Making and Financial Authority:
- As delegated by the Commercial Director.
Person Specification:
Education:
- Diploma or higher qualification in business logistics or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of sales and business development experience within express logistics courier services or e-commerce logistics.
- Strong network and understanding of the UAE market with proven success in acquiring and managing key accounts.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Strong ability to tailor express logistics solutions to meet diverse customer needs.
- Effective relationship-building and client management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word) and CRM platforms.
