Responsibilities:
- Pre and post contract commercial support
- Management of bonds insurances and guarantee logs
- Review of interim valuations and payment certificates
- Change Management
- Review of variations and preparation of recommendations
- Preparation and review of estimates
- Assisting in risk and value management and cost control functions
- Assisting in identifying analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
- Assisting in preparation of progress/ cost reports
- Reporting to Project Director on all commercial issues
- Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations
- Attendance and representation at commercial meetings.
Experiences and Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognized University
- Relevant Experience in Pre and post contract Commercial Processes strong admin and QAQC reviewing skills managing change control process client facing knowledge of local market would be a preferable.
- Min 15 years in pre and postcontract (change management is essential) relevant capacity in contracts and commercial management
- MRICS mandatory
- Experience of managing teams and client facing
- Measurement and quantification of building and infrastructure works
- Cost estimating of building and infrastructure elements
- Must have previous experience of FIDIC Contracts
- Project experience must be broad and include Hospitality Residential Leisure and Infrastructure;
- Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 3 years
- Must have minimum of 3 years Middle East experience
- Should be based in KSA
- Knowledge in the use of QS software CostX or similar is preferable;
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills;
- Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
