Job Overview
Carrier is a world leading technology company in the field of heating airconditioning and refrigeration solutions. We are hiring a talented senior Digital Technology leader to join the HVAC Middle East & Africa HVAC segment of Carrier. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and of the regions DT strategy technology plans and investments.
Job Responsibilities
Partner with the regional business executive and leadership team by recommending and prioritizing DT investments and projects that support the regions strategic business initiatives.
Design and develop DT strategies to simplify and standardize back office operation processes enhance customer & employee experiences drive revenue growth margin expansion digital innovation and mitigate compliance and cybersecurity risks.
Lead the Middle East digital technology organization to build advanced infrastructure and application capabilities to enhance DT operational efficiency and digitalization transformation
Work closely with DT professionals and Center of Excellence tower leads within the company to ensure alignment on solution standards resources budget for project as well as achieving operation excellence.
Work closely with project management teams to successfully execute initiatives and delivery the committed business outcome.
Maintain awareness and knowledge of emerging DT technologies and methodologies. Identify appropriate DT technologies & service delivery approaches for the region that consider external benchmark and best practice.
Manage suppliers in terms of contract negotiation service level fulfillment development deployment and operation support.
Manage product go to market initiatives and processes within the integrated DT ecosystems (PDM CRM CPQ ERP etc).
Develop the long range plan and annual DT budget and track actual performance against budget targets.
Develop implement and lead DT talent management & succession strategies that support business goals and substantiality of the organization.
Qualifications / Skills
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management
Excellent interpersonal analytical as well as problemsolving skills.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively interact with people at all levels.
Ability to lead and motivate crossfunctional interdisciplinary teams to achieve strategic goals.
Proactive selfmotivated and a team player.
Strong understanding of project management principles and project management skills.
Ability to handle several projects at a given time.
Ability to speak Arab and English fluently. Other regional languages would be a plus
Education Experience
Masters degree in Information Systems Information Technology Computer Science or related field preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of experience related to IT Management or other information technology. At lease 5 years of senior leadership role in a multinational company with a regional responsibility.
Proven track record in successfully implementing ERP CRM systems in the manufacturing industry offering complex configurable products.
Extensive experience and knowledge in major ERP CRM CPQ Data Warehouse and BI systems (SAP ECC/S4H Salesforce BW Power BI etc.
Good knowledge in cloud technology (AWS Azure AliBaba Cloud)
Demonstrated capability to work in cross functional leadership team
Proven experience in management of outsourced vendors during project implementation system integration and support.
