Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Inspector to join our team on a fulltime 1year contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications codes and regulations. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about construction and has a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications codes and regulations

Monitor and report on the progress of construction activities highlighting any potential issues or delays

Review and approve construction plans drawings and specifications

Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve any constructionrelated issues

Keep accurate records of all construction activities including daily reports inspection reports and photographs

Conduct quality control checks to ensure that materials and workmanship meet project standards

Attend project meetings and provide updates on construction progress and any issues that may arise

Assist in the preparation of progress reports and other project documentation

Stay updated on industry standards codes and regulations to ensure compliance in construction activities

Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Mentor and train junior inspectors as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Inspector in the construction industry

Strong knowledge of construction codes standards and regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

Proficient in using construction inspection tools and equipment

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report potential issues

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different project sites as needed

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
