Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rigger to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a crucial member of our organization you will be responsible for the safe and efficient lifting and moving of heavy equipment and materials on our job sites.
- Inspect and prepare loads for movement ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Set up align and level heavy equipment machinery with precision
- Select and prepare appropriate rigging gear including beams pulleys clamps and bolts
- Conduct thorough inspections of rigging equipment before and after use
- Maneuver loads using heavy equipment machinery and manual techniques
- Monitor and maintain rigging equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA local and company safety procedures
- Collaborate effectively with the rigging and construction team members
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with team members during operations
- Adapt to working in Dubais climate conditions including high temperatures and occasional sandstorms
- Break down rigging equipment and conduct postrigging inspections
- Stay updated on the latest rigging techniques and safety protocols
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid rigging certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a rigger in a similar role
- Indepth knowledge of rigging equipment heavy machinery and safety procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and local UAE safety regulations
- Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy equipment
- Strong mathematical skills for load calculations and equipment setup
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work efficiently at heights and in noisy environments
- Excellent hearing and vision capabilities
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Adaptability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions particularly in Dubais climate
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to make quick informed decisions
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry best practices
