Job Description
- Anesthesia Technicianassists Anesthesiologist by setting-up equipment and preparing medications.
- Orders, stocks, tests, and maintains anesthesia supplies, medications, and equipment.
- Being an Anesthesia Technician washes and sterilizes re-usable equipment and reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel.
- The Anesthesia Technicianchecks and supplies anesthesia carts and machines, checks and replaces anesthesia gas tanks, disassembles used anesthesia equipment, disinfects machines and supply carts, replaces used products and prepares transducers for invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
