Reporting to the Food & Beverages Manager and Outlet Manager responsibilities and essential job functions:
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service.
- Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
- Follow outlet policies procedures and service standards.
- Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.
- Have full knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
- Report to duty punctually in full uniform according to appearance and grooming standards.
- Promote and maintain a positive working relationship at all times with all the Colleagues of Rixos Premium Dubai.
- Fully understand and follow the hotels recycling program and procedures.
- Actively participate in all health and safety procedures for the entire hotel.
- Follow all of safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
- Always take corrective action if service errors occur ensuring all solutions exceed the Guests expectation.
- Understand each service station and all side duties assigned to that station.
- Carrying out any miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as requested by your Manager/Supervisor pertaining to total quality service delivered.
- Flexibility in availability for changing shifts according to the demand of the business.
- Complying with all Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
- Ensuring excellent first impression of the guest by practicing excellent personal hygiene and impeccable cleanliness of the outlet.
- Provide unique dining experiences to all of our guests through warm personal & detailed service in an upscale fast paced environment.
- Assist in the development of new and innovative beverage concepts for al a carte menu and monthly promotions.
- Work with leaders and department trainers to train and evaluate team on beverage standards.
- Work with the team to achieve greater results and positive relations.
- Provide service consistent with all Standards.
- Perform duties as requested by supervisors/managers.
Qualifications :
- Previous Barista experience required.
- Previous point of sale system experience an asset but not required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times.
