We are seeking an organized and efficient Storekeeper to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our warehouse operations ensuring accurate inventory control and maintaining a safe and organized storage environment.
- Receive unpack and store incoming shipments in designated areas
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized inventory management systems
- Pick pack and prepare outgoing orders for shipment
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for optimal space utilization
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill inventory requests and resolve issues
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the storage facility
- Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels damages and discrepancies
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 23 years of experience in a similar storekeeper or warehouse role
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word)
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent recordkeeping abilities and basic math skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving lifting standing and walking for extended periods
- Knowledge of warehouse operations procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
