Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Design review and approve electrical systems for projects ensuring compliance with UAE standards and regulations.
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installations power distribution lighting and ELV systems.
- Prepare and review technical drawings specifications and BOQs.
- Work closely with MEP civil and architectural teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site inspections quality checks and testing & commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure adherence to DEWA ADDC and other UAE authority requirements.
- Identify and resolve electrical design and execution challenges onsite.
- Manage subcontractors suppliers and procurement of electrical materials.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
- Prepare and present progress reports risk assessments and project updates to stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Must have 10 years of experience in electrical engineering within the contracting sector.
- Proven experience working in the UAE with knowledge of local authority regulations (DEWA ADDC and municipality requirements).
- Strong expertise in power distribution lighting ELV and electrical safety standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and electrical design software.
- Excellent problemsolving communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Must be locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
