Roles and responsibilities
AECOM are currently seeking a BIM Manager, to join our Urbanism + Planning studio, sitting within the Landscape Architecture team. The successful candidate will lead the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, ensuring accurate digital models and effective collaboration across projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation and management of BIM processes and workflows.
- Develop and maintain BIM standards and protocols across projects.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of BIM models and related data.
- Integrate Revizto into the BIM management workflow.
- Utilize Revizto to streamline project reviews and issue tracking.
- Application / Management of Revizto View templates
- Revizto Team management and controls
- Prepare and manage BIM management documents, including Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR), BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and other workflow-related documents.
- Ensure compliance with project-specific BIM requirements and industry standards.
- Oversee the use of Autodesk Construction Cloud tools for project coordination and data management
- Implement and manage cloud-based construction workflows.
- Ensure data security and integrity within the cloud environment.
- Develop and manage Power BI dashboards to visualize BIM data and project metrics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators and reporting needs.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all Power BI reports.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure BIM workflows are integrated into project schedules and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and address any BIM-related issues.
- Facilitate communication between various project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models and related data.
- Implement corrective actions to address any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy in all BIM deliverables.
Desired candidate profile
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the BIM management field.
- At least 2+ years of experience using Revizto in BIM management workflows.
- Proven experience in managing Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Knowledge in BIM Management from Master Plan Level ( Preferred)
- Knowledge in Automation Scripting ( Preferred)
- Develop BIM Standards: Creating and enforcing company or project-specific BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to ensure consistency and quality across all project models.
- BIM Strategy Development: Establishing a strategic approach for integrating BIM into projects, from the planning and design phase to construction and post-construction.
- BIM Execution Plan (BEP): Developing the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), which defines project goals, requirements, deliverables, and processes for BIM collaboration and management.
