A Senior Banking Product Manager in a Major Bank Several Roles

Our client a major nationallevel bank with the head office in the United Arab Emirates is looking for several highlymotivated and experienced Senior Banking Product Managers to join permanently the banks team in Dubai United Arab Emirates and drive the strategy design implementation and enhancements/improvements of various core banking products. Senior Product Managers will be responsible for understanding customer needs defining product roadmaps and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to deliver innovative and competitive banking solutions. The ideal candidates for these positions/roles should be seasoned banking product leaders with a deep understanding of the banking industry and a passion for building worldclass financial products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Banking Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and maintain the product vision strategy and roadmap for assigned banking products (e.g. deposit products investment products lending products payment solutions blockchain/crypto products etc.) aligning with the overall business objectives. Prioritize banking product features based on market research customer feedback emerging and innovative technologies and business goals;
  
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research competitive analysis and customer research to identify opportunities for new products and product enhancements/improvements. Analyze data and user feedback to understand customer needs and pain points;
  
• Product Development Lifecycle: Manage the entire product lifecycle from idea identification and initial idea evaluation to a product launch including requirements gathering user story creation sprint planning product implementation product testing product launch and post golive product optimizations/improvements. Collaborate closely with IT operations marketing compliance and other teams in the bank to ensure successful product delivery launch and marketing throughout the product lifecycle;
  
• Product Performance & Analytics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Analyze product performance data and identify areas for improvement;
  
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product vision strategy and roadmap to stakeholders across the organization including senior management. Collaborate with the front office and business development teams marketing customer service and other teams to ensure product adoption and success;
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all product development and management activities comply with relevant banking regulations and compliance requirements in the United Arab Emirates. Work closely with compliance and legal teams to address any regulatory concerns;
  
• Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends competitor activities and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities to differentiate our banking products and maintain a competitive edge;
  
• Pricing & Profitability: Develop and manage product pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Analyze product costs and revenue to ensure profitability of banking products/solutions in your product portfolio;
  
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with thirdparty vendors and technology providers as needed and when applicable;
  
• Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor and guide junior product managers fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field. An MBA or Masters degree is preferred;
  
• A minimum of 12 (ten) or more years of experience in the banking and/or financial services industries;
  
• A minimum of 3 (three) or more years of experience in Banking Product Management roles;
  
• Indepth understanding of and expert knowledge in banking products services and operations;
  
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements;
  
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and strategic thinking skills;
  
• Strong communication interpersonal and presentation skills;
  
• Ability to work effectively in a crossfunctional team environment;
  
• Experience with agile banking product development and implementation methodologies;
  
• Customercentric mindset with a passion for building great banking products.
