Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and manage detailed BIM models for ELV systems using tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.
- Develop accurate 3D models for ELV systems including CCTV access control fire alarm public address and data networking systems.
- Ensure all ELV models comply with relevant design standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (architects electrical engineers mechanical engineers and structural engineers) to resolve design conflicts and ensure integration with other systems.
- Perform clash detection using tools like Navisworks and resolve identified issues within the ELV systems.
- Participate in design coordination meetings to ensure the smooth integration of ELV systems into the overall project design.
- Produce detailed shop drawings schematics and layouts for ELV systems based on BIM models.
- Update AsBuilt models as required and maintain accurate documentation for ELV systems.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards such as DEWA ADDC SEC and other relevant authorities in the GCC.
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all ELV BIM deliverables.
Key Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering ELV Systems or a related field.
- Minimum of 57 years of experience in ELV BIM modeling preferably within the UAE or other GCC countries.
- Experience with design consulting firms in the Middle East is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in BIM software particularly Revit and Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of ELV system design principles and regulations.
- Knowledge of local authority regulations and standards in the GCC region.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
