Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary: Al Reem Group is seeking a fulltime Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional rehabilitative services to patients. The Occupational Therapist will assess patient conditions develop personalized treatment plans and assist patients in improving their ability to perform daily tasks. This role requires strong analytical skills a patientcentered approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations to assess physical psychological and environmental factors affecting daily life.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks through therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
- Educate patients and families on proper care exercises and the use of adaptive equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress treatment goals and outcomes in medical records.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Provide emotional support and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in occupational therapy.
- Monitor and manage patient equipment ensuring all necessary supplies are available for effective therapy.
Qualifications:
- DOH Eligibility or Active licensed Occupational Therapist is a must.
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques adaptive equipment and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and handle multiple cases.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and relevant software.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi healthcare regulations and standards.
- Immediate availability preferred.
