Job Description
IT Support role in Abu Dhabi
Fantastic opportunity with promising longterm career prospects.
Key Accountabilities:
- He/she is responsible to perform regular checkups or inspections in networking devices AV infrastructure and other IT/AV related peripherals.
- Provides technical assistance and troubleshooting on hardware/software issues.
- Ensure printer management configuration and other scanning devices.
- Setting up Apple devices (Laptop IPAD Mobile phones & Apple TV) and AV systems including other peripherals
- Doing backup & restoration of IOS platform devices if required
- Setting up projectors and sound systems as per request.
- Setting up gaming devices for the kids for their personal use & Events.
- Installation & updating of application software as required with management approval.
- Setting up the operating system (windows XP78 & 1011 & MAC OSX)
- Assist in the actual events for technicalities and sometimes printing/laminating/labelling
- Perform any other related duties as required and asked by the reporting manager.
- Qualifications Diploma/ Degree in in computer science information technology or similar.
- Minimum years of experience 25 years experience as an IT support specialist
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or similar
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an IT Support specialist in Apple support troubleshooting configuration & data migration
Skills and Competencies
- Indepth knowledge of computer hardware software and networks.
- Ability to determine IT needs and train endusers.
- Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
- Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security.
