Job Description
Workshop Technician
- As Technician Capital Parts you will play a critical role in delivering highquality service and support for reciprocating compressors and rotating equipment.
- Your work will directly contribute to the reliability and efficiency of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Perform handson mechanical service for reciprocating compressors and rotating equipment.
- Disassemble inspect and assemble compressor components like cylinders liners and bearings.
- Conduct precise measurements and evaluations documenting all findings.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery including horizontal boring honing and cylindrical grinders.
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings for accurate manufacturing and repairs.
Requirements:
- ITI/ITC certification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 35 years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance (reciprocating compressors preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to address challenges effectively.
- Proficiency in English for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Physical ability to handle tools machinery and work in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage.
