Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

As a Digital Marketing Intern you will join an exciting journey of supporting various projects to support digital media and consumer marketing activities for Philips Personal Health in Middle East & North Africa (MENA).

Your role:

  • Coordinate with the Consumer Marketing team on brainstorming & aligning on marketing campaigns for MENA region;
  • Use various tools to pull out data and provide the insights from digital marketing campaigns, create reports about the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns;
  • Performing market analysis and research on competition;
  • Monitoring social media platforms for brand mentions or negative comments about a company’s products or services;
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web);
  • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM).

You're the right fit if:

  • You are a student of Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marketing / Business Administration / Engineering, who is available to work min. 3 days/week (ideally full time);
  • You speak very good Arabic and poses great communication and presentation skills;
  • Have knowledge of digital media, data analytics, and content creating as well as Microsoft Excel and Power Point savvy;
  • Genuinely curios & interested in learning along with professional drive.

Desired candidate profile

  • Content Creation and Management:

    • Assisting in writing and creating content for blogs, websites, and social media platforms.
    • Supporting the creation of email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials.
    • Helping design graphics or visuals using tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop (if applicable).
  • Social Media Management:

    • Managing and scheduling posts across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
    • Monitoring social media engagement, responding to comments, and interacting with followers.
    • Assisting in growing and engaging the brand’s social media audience.
  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization):

    • Assisting with SEO efforts by researching keywords, optimizing content, and ensuring website content is search-engine friendly.
    • Analyzing website traffic using tools like Google Analytics to measure SEO performance.
    • Learning how to conduct on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
  • Email Marketing:

    • Helping create email campaigns and newsletters using platforms like MailChimp or HubSpot.
    • Monitoring the effectiveness of email campaigns (open rates, click-through rates, etc.) and suggesting improvements.
  • Market Research:

    • Conducting research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience behavior.
    • Gathering data to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Paid Advertising:

    • Assisting with the creation and management of paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
    • Monitoring ad performance and suggesting optimizations based on campaign results.
  • Analytics and Reporting:

    • Tracking key performance metrics (KPIs) to evaluate the success of digital marketing campaigns.
    • Creating reports and providing insights into website traffic, social media performance, and other digital campaigns.
    • Learning how to use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or social media analytics platforms.
