Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Female English Teacher (ADEK Approved/ Preferably with UAE experience and complete/attested documents) Grade Level:Cycle 1 and 2 ( Gr.1 Gr. 8) for a reputable school in Al Ain.The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language a passion for teaching and experience in delivering highquality lessons that engage and inspire students. This role involves teaching students from insert grade levels in a specific curriculum e.g. British American IB and providing them with the tools to improve their reading writing speaking and listening skills. The English Teacher will foster a supportive learning environment that encourages academic growth and personal development.
Eligibility Criteria :
- (Bachelors degree in Education Specialization) OR ( Teaching Diploma ADEK Bachelors degree)
- ILETS band score of 7 required.
- Minimum of 2 years Experience in UAE (American Curriculum)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging wellstructured lessons in English catering to students varying abilities.
- Curriculum Implementation: Follow and contribute to the development of the school s English curriculum.
- Student Progress: Assess and monitor students progress through regular testing assignments and classroom observations.
- Lesson Planning: Develop creative and engaging lesson plans that focus on enhancing the core skills of reading writing listening and speaking.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive disciplined and inclusive learning environment.
- Supportive Learning: Identify students strengths and weaknesses and provide targeted support for those who require additional help.
- Feedback & Communication: Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain regular communication with parents regarding academic performance and behaviour.
- Assessments: Design and mark exams assignments and projects and track student progress effectively.
- Collaborative Work: Work closely with other teachers administrative staff and the schools leadership team to ensure a wellrounded educational experience.
- ExtraCurricular Activities: Participate in extracurricular activities such as clubs events and school initiatives where applicable.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in English Education or a related field (required).
- Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE CELTA TESOL or equivalent) (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an English language teaching role (preferably in a school setting).
- Strong understanding of language development and pedagogy.
- Excellent English language skills (both verbal and written).
- Familiarity with the curriculum being taught (e.g. British American IB) (preferred).
- Classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to a diverse range of learners.
- Organised and capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Creativity and passion for fostering a love of literature and language among students.
